Next week Jen. I have til Friday this week to get it emptied as my mates dh is coming on Saturday to rip out the old kitchen. Then a quick bit of plastering and just maybe if I’m really lucky a lick of paint on Sunday/Monday before the new kitchen goes in Tuesday/Wednesday. Then to get the sparky/plumber back in to reconnect and the tiler is hopefully coming thursday/friday to do the splashback.

No not a sooky la la! I have been awake in the middle of the night with an abcess on my gum/tooth and it is so excruciating!! – I did notice your email was about 5am this morning and wondered why you were up so early! Now I know! Hope it settles down by tonight!

My 7 year old son was also born with hypospadius, thankfully a mild case. We’ve been a patient of Paddy’s in the past also and I think his work speaks for itself. There is no denying he is a skilled surgeon, and the fact he donates so much of his time to patients overseas is just wonderful.
I also don’t know the specifics of the case, but surely one mistake shouldn’t see him deregistered. Imagine all those patients who need his expertise over those 12-18 months! Who’s going to help them, when he is often the only surgeon to tackle such complicated surgeries?

Got it up now (not the fly yet as the main tent was very wet in itself too). It may take longer than usual to dry it out this time.

last time it took about 3 days to get a dry day and it was just starting to gather a hint of a mouldy smell (probably only noticable because I was worried about it), but just checked BOM and it seems tomorrow afternoon should be good – dry and a little windy = perfect.
